Court Approves $875,000 401(k) Class Settlement
On Nov. 21, 2022, the Court approved as “fair and reasonable” a class action settlement that challenged the administration of the West Corporation 401(k) pension fund. The fund partially reimbursed class members, who were participants int the pension fund, for losses plaintiffs claimed were attributable to the mismanagement of the fund. It also covered the claims administration, and funded the payment of attorneys’ fees and costs. In settling, the defendants denied all liability.
