Off-the-Clock Overtime Litigation
The Fair Labor Standards Act requires that employees are entitled to 1.5 times their hourly pay for hours worked over 40. I was lead counsel in a case brought against one of the largest public transportation services company in the country where our claim was that transportation authority didn’t pay its drivers for their required pre-trip inspections. The case settled after plaintiff prevailed on her conditional certification motion for about 100 cents on the dollar.
